iPhone wireless charging evolution
iPhone 8-and-later supports Qi; iPhone 12-and-later adds MagSafe magnetic alignment; now Qi2 makes magnetic charging an open standard. An Apple wireless charger went from "hard to align" to "snap and done".
MagSafe or Qi2
Both are magnetic: a magnetic wireless charger snaps into place at full 15W, while a plain Qi pad needs careful coil alignment or it slows down. Go magnetic for the experience.
How to pair accessories
